ADSL newbie Q
Hi
The ADSL in my country uses G.DMT which mean u have to use microfilters on every phone line extension but my problem is that there are lots of telephone handsets hooked up in almost every room of the house ! and i can't buy microfilters for all of 'em (this 'll be so expensive for me) so i wanna ask: If i bought 2 microfilters and installed them with the most used 2 telephone handsets and ignored the others, will i receive/make phone calls normally while being online or the other bared telephone will make some problem to the whole process concerning 1. my connection and 2. My parent's use of the 2 phone lines equipped with the microfilters

DSL may not work if you have a phone plugged in without a microfilter.
However if you have the phone wiring suitably arranged you can have
several phones downstream of one microfilter.
