We have our panties in a bunch to watch a video.
2 pieces
It's .mpg
It's coming up looking for a codec and returning "error downloading codec"
WMP (whatever came with xp)
To be honest I thought I had a pretty decent set-up for codecs.
Ideas?
my first idea is:
my xp came with wmp8. go to the ms site and dl wmp9, and see if that helps.
otherwise, wait for krell.
good luck

Heh I went to KK. . .
Use the G-Spot to see what the file lacks. Make sure its not a VCD . . as I had one improperly named last night. Turn out I had to use the DVD player software.
You might PM me the name, see If I have it etc etc.
i forgot to mention:
i do get audio but not video
thanks isus but that didn't work
I've tried renaming it to avi, nothing
my g-spot says it can't open mpg
I'll pm
I find it funny how your pic in the avitar almost always matches the expression of what you say. Codec ideas, I thought I had it all and found out I didn't. if you remeber I used BT++, well, it stuffed up, if you got it with that then look in the temp folder, there's the working files.Originally posted by cheapprick
