HELP! Invisible Keylogger

I ran AdAware and it found this thing called Invisible Keylogger. It says it got rid of it, but when I go to the path where it said it was located (c:\program files\invisible keylogger\), there are still files in there. There is a file called "uninstall.exe" but whenever I run it, it says keylogger is running and must be closed before it can be uninstalled. The task manager shows nothing, nor does services.msc. Control Panel's "Add/remove programs" doesn't show it either. How the fuck do I get rid of this thing? Please help :(

It's taking screenshots of every single thing I do and storing them in a folder called "scrshots"... wtf?

Shut your computer off. Restart in safe mode. Then follow the same procedure you already tried. Shut off again, and restart in regular mode. Might work.

if safe mode doesnt work... use a boot floppy and delete the directory from there

ok...here is a way to solve your problem.

1) download and install Spybot Search&Destroy (a free program) run it and clean your system. (make sure to 'immunize')
Once 'cleaned' ... .
2)install Spyblaster (also free) available Wrom: VTLBXFGGMEPYOQKEDOTWFAOBUZXUWLSZLKBRNVWWCUFPEGAUTF JMVRESKPNKMBIPBARHDMNNSKVFVWRKJVZCMHVIBGDADRZFSQHY UCDDJBLVLM

Once you download Spyblaster and install it...it sets kill bits to prevent the keylogger(and other sh*t) from coming back ...without having to run in backround.
You dont need to have it running ...once installed ..you just need to update its reference file - once in a while.
Kills a lot of other bad stuff too.
Before it gets on your system!

you could have a girlfriend or someone who just wants too seee who your chating too, they have monitoring browser functions and it may be jealousy =)

yeah... you just need a program to delete ally our spyware and adware. because my spyware was hidden in hotkey and other places. Gator and xupitor are getting smarter. Some things say their not spyware but their lying. Even after you think you've deleted all the spyware you should run a program.. spybot if you'd like. It'll even load at your next start up before the spyware even runs. once running it's hard to kill

I think I got rid of it all... AdAware and SpyBot S&D both show nothing now. Holy fuck, did that ever take long. I disconnected my cable modem, rebooted with a DOS boot disk... found what I think are all of the hidden files, unattribed them, all of their subdirectories, deleted, removed, etc... nice little batch file called "kill.bat" took care of most of it, hehe ;) I got rid of every possible thing I could find that was related to it. Here's hoping it's gone for good.
