Everything queued in WinMX
Man...WinMX has a large selection of files to choose from.
(But) Why are most of the files queued? when I search a file and it opens... the majority of the files are queued on large waiting numbers. When I agree to remotely queued and wait on this file...for example(I'm queued on #23 and i'll will be pushed back to #24 and so on...how do they jump ahead on you in line?

Most of the time, people can jump ahead because they trding with the person u are downloading from. So, the person u are downloading from lets them ahead of u so they can trade. But once u get a few good files it will be much easier to get other files because u can also trade.

Another reason for the queueing is that there are people with broadband connections that only allow 1 upload which is complete bull, they have plenty of bandwith to have at least 5 uploads. i can understand having 1 if you are on dialup.
Most of the time, i get around the queues by finding one that isnt, there almost always is at least 1 or 2 people who have just connected and have no uploads yet.

So...The only way to get a file ...in a long waiting queued file...is to message them...and make an agreement trade.

In Purgatory
Or if you are desperate you can beg the person to let your d/l start. May or may not work, depending on the users mood, but it helps to have high speed.
Though don't try it if you don't have a thing in your shared folder, because people will browse and if you look like a freeloader they'll diconnect you.
