peer guardian
I was running e mule and I received a couple of hits from universal studios in peer guardian. Does this mean they are monitoring me or are after me? Could it be just a random thing? Any help would be greatly appreciated

It means they tried to connect to you, but PeerGuardian blocked it. Who knows they could be monitoring you with another IP that PeerGuardian doesn't have to block. You never really know, that's why nothing is 100% safe.

Black Mage Power.
Times like those, it's nice to have SOME software on our side. Be glad and continue to share.

Are they issuing subpoenas?
Are they issuing subpoenas like the RIAA. I have downloaded stuff in the past, but I am no longer sharing those files. Why would they be trying to check up on me? Is there anything I can do? Also the MPAA also tried to connect

The RIAA is only doing subpoenas, but the MPAA will give you a warning.
