Yes, but what about the quadra-lateral phase multiplier protocol?

Would it not be more efficient to implement that on a modulation basis, while cross fluctuating the trylion routing algorithm?

    Hmm makes sense to me...................

LOL, someone's been watching too much Star Trek. Well, this sounds interesting. I thought of an idea similar to that., that just be downloading from more than one IP would confuse the RIAA. I'd like to see this kind of protocol in Freenet, along with encryption like in Blubster, all the cool eMule stuff that makes that network so cool like download swarming and stuff and incomplete file sharing, it would need all that to be as fast as network that work on a 1 to 1 basis, but I think it would be adequate.

Oh, first I though it would be Perry Rhoadan, nevertheless:

This alien idea is only a metaphor to make it clearer. (okay, I watched Star Trek almost once ;).

Really important is, that there is no better solution in my view, because encryption can only encrypt the way from you to the other host, but when the other host is an attacker, you have given him the key and the whole encryption is useless.

Encryption with public makes even no sense at all. Imagine a PGP-Key which everybody has along the private key -> no use. Okay, there is a way to make it work out better, such as trusted user groups, but it's horrible complicated.

The best I found, thinking about that for about one year (or was it more) is the wow-principal.

It's absolutely secure and as fast (or faster) as the originally clients and the best: it works along with all old clients!

Let's see if someone of the main developers will integrate it.
Another point is, that as soon the first clients a released, all others could claim that they were using a "wow-compliant" client, when RIAA or someone checked them.

So, voila: the end of RIAA has come! ;)

    Cheers,
    NeoOne

    BEAM ME UP, SCOTTY!!!!!!!

I loved how Star trek the Next Generation always had some sort of bizarre technical idea, then they would use a simple metaphor to let everyone understand it. Like, "We change the modulation frequency of the refracting psylon beam from 0.2 to 0.6 - it's kind of like souring the milk." WHAT?

    Talking /me takes a bow

    THANK YOU ALL! lol

@TYB, i know what you mean, ever notice in Star trek, how they never actually physically fix anything? (rarely you will see them, phase welding, or plasma torching things)

They must have some extreme nano technology, even though it is never spoken of.

I wish fixing my car was as simple as adjusting some modulator or some such thing LOL

    *EDIT*

And i know what episode you are talking about,

In next generation where they had that giant space creature attach itself to their ship because it thought the Enterprise was its mother, and was feeding off of their power.

Yes, I remember that episode too, I'm surprised you can say that word for word, did you just watch that today or something?
