lol nice crash.. have u guys ever thought that the crashes is ur systems or os 's fault? i mean the program can only be so stable if ur os sux.. one time my shareaza would never finish hashing this file, and instead of blamin shareaza i looked for the real problem.. i found out my hard drive was dyin and it gave a trouble code.. so bottom line its not shareaza its u guys.. just make sure u have win xp , latest antivirus and run spyware detection to make sure ur system is good b4 u blame programs for crashes

The bottom line is dont assume that everyone is a noob, and that they all have bad drives. The real problem can be the program, and if they have had no other problems, that is what I would lean towards.

Well said, Shareaza is the only program to crash on me in weeks and it does it on 3 of my machines, all within minutes, forceably when I apply a skin. :error

This new Shareaza is in beta, so it wouldn't be suprising if it crashed or has bugs.

It's not that Shareaza or your system is unstable, you just have to configure it correctly. Ask for help on the shareaza forums.

    Lightbulb

I turned off Windows Update for XP since we bought my sister's computer and no bugs or error occurred like that.
