artists get most of there money, the overwhelming majority, on tours.
CDs make money for Big Biz and Big Biz alone. they are price fixed and seemingly have no quality control.
ever notice how hard it is for you to get sales for a certain CD? can you say enron accounting?
the solution would be for artists to cut out the music biz and offer downloads from tere sites. they would clean up.

Maybe the RIAA could get sued for antitrust suit (ie, all of the artists). That would be sweet.
