    credit file and restarts

I use eMule 24/7 but shut down occasionally for adding/removing hardware or when new apps need a system restart.
I was thinking how the credit file shown in the log file updates whenever you restart the app. Is the credit rating constantly updating in real time and you only see the change by restarting and refreshing the log file? That is to say, is there any case for occasionally restarting on this basis to improve credit rating?

I don't know about the credit rating. But why close the program just to increase that, at the expense of losing your line in a queue? That seems to defeat the purpose to me.

I just leave it on, and don't have any trouble getting files. :)
Always be nice to those around you. After all, some day you might need CPR.......

I've found that with a restart it takes a short while to start downloading again but sometimes it goes a little faster so it pretty much evens out. The eDonkey network is just plain slow. Queue a bunch of things and forget it, otherwise you'll just frustrate yourself.
