when i try to access some sites, the site opens up for a brief second but then switches quickly to msn search
Sorry, no results were found containing "http://media.fastclick.net/w/get.media?t=n"
the only way i can stop this from happenin is if i quickly hit stop when the page i am trying to access opens up
Thanks in advance

It's something that IE can't find, so it redirects you to MSN search (bastards).
It's probably an ad of some sort.
yeah I used to get thouse when I tried opening webpages, it was prety funny it said it couldn't find zeropaid once, hahaha.
Correct DainBramaged, they are bastards.
To correct this, In an open Internet Explorer Window, go to
Tools>Internet Options>Advanced(Tab)>Search From The Address Bar>When Searching>
And then just check the circle that says "Do Not Search From The Address Bar"
And thats the ticket.
EDIT: Spelling
You can't triple stamp a double stamp.
thanks ken...
that happens on my comp when it can't find something... it gives me crap, but... it used to go to msn, but now it goes to fastsearch or goodsearch. i dont know which, but they are both gay.
and ie refuses to go to some websites too... forums.macrumors.com is one of them. www.tshirthell.com is another. there are plenty more too. it's starting to get so bad i am considering using opera or mozilla...
what are some of the best alternative browsers?
(and if anybody tries to be 'helpful' by saying myie2 or something else that uses the ie rendering core and everything else, i swear to god, i will go nuclear...)

firebird is good. it's my second browser (on xp) and 1st (on linux).
my friend (rafter109) told me firebird had a lot of compatibility issues... do you find this true?Originally posted by Sockfulloflove
