I wonder if anyone can help. Ever since I upgraded from an Intel P3 700 to an AMD 2400 XP (I had to reinstall Windows XP) Blubster 2.50 (Cleam Dr Damn version) crashes with the following error in the event log.
Event ID 1000
Faulting application blubster.exe, version 2.5.0.0, faulting module msvbvm60.dll, version 6.0.92.37, fault address 0x00038ad7.
Any ideas?
I use AMD 2200+ and I have no problems with it.....try searching google with the error?
I installed Piolet 1.05 and now Blubster 2.50 works. Hmmm....???
You were missing a visual basic 6 dll, one that blubster does not install, but piolet does.

@Supreme
Are you behind a router? What version of blubster are you using? Do you have a firewall? Are you on a lan?
Fill in the details and i am sure we can figure something out.

I liked blubster prevously. However, 2.5 will not connect. The problem I beleive is the NAT gateway. I have followed the instructions from Blubster but am still having problems. If anyone has any suggestions that would be cool. I run Kazzalite, emule, and limewire sometimes and have never had a problem with those programs. Although, Emule gives me a low ID.

You might behind of a firewall, maybe a router of some sort. If your running xp your firewall is automatically on and you will need to turn it off.

I have a router and connect through a LAN and I can connect just fine. So I think it might have to do something with a firewall. Maybe he has the xp one on by accident. Or then again it could be his router settings or something. but I have a linksys router, and I connect just fine.

Odd that I was missing a dll for vb6 since I tried installing a fresh copy of vb6. Perhaps Dr Damn's Blubster is missing something needed on a freshly installed WinXP?
