Try the new iMac ML Donkey program or whatever it's called that's under the new releases right now, it's pretty nice.

check the app called "mlMac" (it's GUI for mlDonkey), pretty good, make sure to got to system pref and check all the networks, it is worls wit kazaa and gnutella also.
