Help me please !!

First, I´m from Austria, so I´m sorry for my bad English !

I have a Mac, an 8.6 and I loaded down the Lime Wire file sharing program, but it doesn´t work !!
If i try to open the program than this comes : "You can´t open Lime Wire, cause the program that produced Lime Wire can´t be found.

I know that I´m an idiot in things like Computer, but please can anybody help me ?? What should I do ??

in the meantime it will probably be better if you give the exact error you are receiving or at least more detail, does it say for example what file or program like something.dll or whatever that it cannot find?

I don't have a clue about Macs but noticed that the LimeWire for Mac is a .bin file. Have you installed the program yet or maybe you just can't open it. You need Stuffit or Isobuster or something for that.

wow... i haven't used os8.6 or limewire in a long long time.

my guess:
try reinstalling? if that doesn't work, look around on the limewire site, maybe you don't have a good enough version of java or something...

i'll go snoop around, see what i can find for ya.

actually, i don't know... but buy osx. lol. i checked out limewire's site, and tried to dl the java shit. i couldn't find any for os8...

if you're mac can't run osx, it's probably too old. sell it on ebay and buy a newer one (look through the forums at www.spymac.com a section called classifieds)

Try downloading an older version of Limewire off Kaz....hmm, well, just try getting an older version of Limewire, look around on the web.
