On Morpheus Site, you see a huge No Spyware (a crossed out spy) Picture, meaning that morpheus has no spyware. And on C|Net's download.com MorpheusPE editor's note they mention that they may log your IP address, track surfing habits online, and share aggregate user information to third parties, in other big word SPYware.
So what's the deal? is Morpheus too desperate? is it a mistake?
I don't think this helps morpheus?

I think they are talking about different versions. The one in Cnet post is supposedly Morpheus Preview Edition 1.3.3.1, but the non-spyware version advertised on website is morph 2.0 new release. Now, I'm not a morph expert but that's what I got from comparing the two pages. If i was dl either, I would definately be skeptical whatever they say and check for spyware....
What funny is the they say the preview addition has spyware but not final release version. Very peculiar....

Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats".
I havent had time to look into it. Is Morph 2.0 Gnucleus based again?
It's not released yet. Nobody knows.
