    Iso file

What am I to do with an .iso file that is 734mb? Can anyone give me advise on how to burn it since it's larger than the 700mb cds?

It's a verified file, so obviously it can be burned somehow right?

don't worry it'll burn, i've burned ISO's and .BIN/.CUE with nero that were over 700 megs. you have a couple of options on this.

if you want to burn, open up nero, go to file, then burn image, find and select the ISO. if you don't have nero, i atleast recommend getting the free trial version.

    other options:

option #1. mount the image, and install it and play it from their using DAEMON TOOLS.

option #2. extract the ISO with WinRAR (i'm not sure if any other archiving program can do this, maybe). install it and play it from their.

If its an iso or a .bin and its way over 700 megs it still will burn

Those things were made to burn on to 700 meg cds so dont worry

I believe CD-Rs will ACTUALLY hold up to about 800 MBs in the ISO, BIN/CUE form.

But yes it'll burn fine. My reccomendation is Nero.
My current setup stats (like anyone cares...):

    ASUS A8N32-SLI Motherboard
    AMD 4400+ Dual-Core CPU
    Windows Vista (Ultimate 32bit)
2 GB (2x1GB) Corsair XMS RAM
2x250 GB (in RAID 0) HDDs
EVGA GeForce 7950 GTX 512 MB
    Creative X-FI Fatal1ty XtremeGamer

    Also sporting a black MacBook
    Revision/Release 1
    Upgraded to 2GB RAM.

Thanks....I tried it with easy cd creator and it didn't work.

I'll try it with alcohol 120% since I've had luck with that program....I've never been able to get Nero to work on my computer, since I have easy CD creator installed (I think there's conflicts between the two).

Alcohol should work fine. Personally, I use Nero, Alcohol and CloneCD for burning!

i had easy cd creator. it sucked.

when i upgraded to xp, i decided nero was not worth the dl time, and have used mmjb's built-in cd burning. lol. it's even better than easy cd creator.

but even easy cd creator is better than winxp's built-in burning. god, that is horrible... blech. another feature in osx, and then all fudged up in windows.

    K3B!

Yea, this probably belongs in the linux forum, but K3B Rocks! Image a program as cool as Nero that's completely free!

Of course, you need KDE to use K3B, so forget it on windows.

Nero all the way for windows. Ez cd creator is the AOL of cd burning programs. It stinks.

I suppose Alcohol, if you have the hard-drive space to just leave all those images around. I've never tried it for burning though.

And seriously, you should check out some features and screenshots of K3B, it puts all other free cd-burning gui's to shame. I'd say it gives Nero a run for it's money.
