    Unhappy how to encod XVID MOVIE FILES

    I have been trying to encode XVID movie to mpeg using TMPGE Encoder program so I can burn it into VCD. However I am having difficulty encoding the XVID movie files. Whenever I load the xvid movie file to TMPGE, it loads it alright but when I am attempting to encode it, TMPGE freezes every time. I can encode other AVI file formats using TMPGE Encoder and the problem seems to be only with XVID movie files. I can play these xvid movie files using my computer but I want to burn them into VCD. Please help solve this problem.

    May be you could try using VirtualDub first to convert XviD format to DivX format then use TMPGEnc for VCD format.
