Whats this? Deadaim just told me theres a new version, but when I got to the site it appears you need to pay to get it? Since when did deadaim start trying to make money?

Quite a while ago, actually.
He announced this about 2 months ago. Apparently, he wasn't making a sufficent amount of money from ad revenue. Personally, I'll just keep using the current version. It works well, aside from a couple logging glitches.
If and when MyIM comes out, I'll use that.......or better yet, Extreme Messenger, which is probably the best AIM add-on on the market today.
