Has anybody received a corrupted video file from emule?
I think emule automatically repairs corrupted video files.
Any problems with the video file should be from the person who made it.
i have that but on very rare occassions.i then just redownload it using the same ed2k link if it doesnt repair itself because the file aint corrupt it just means that one of the sources that you downloaded from has a damaged copy and you where unlucky enough to download from that user.
the only problem i get at the minute is my file while downloading turns black on the progress bar then the file name disappears and then the rest of the files in my download queue follow and they all turn corrupt

It does recover the corrupted parts (as long as the movie was a good copy when first hashed of course...thats another story). Since I switched from Kazaalite to emule for movies I get nice clean copies that play easily, no more having to try 2 or 3 players or having to use videolan and large helpings of patience. Of course I got some good ones using Kazaalite and fast! but a lot of corrupted ones too Is there a better prog than emule for downloading movies?
I just checked my movie folder and can honestly say I haven't downloaded any corrupted parts with emule. Another benefit is I'm learning to be patient. Slowly.
eMule does fix corrupted parts pretty well. However, it is still possible that a particular .part file is corrupt and cannot be recovered by eMule. You'll have to try a different file if this is the case.
