Exclamation More users downloading from me = Better credit rating?

I'm getting a little annoyed that more users are downloading from me than I am downloading the actually file.

Right now six users are downloading a portion of a file that I am trying to download and none of my own downloads have actually started.

Is this anyways like this when a new users starts out?

Does more users uploading from me equals a better credit rating from me?

The longer you leave the client running, the more your speeds will improve. I'm talking hours and maybe even days. Not 1/2 hour or an hour. It takes time.

    Thats the way ED2k is.

Try using a different client. Swap between emule and edonkey and you'll probably get different results

What client are you using? emule or edonkey?

Regardless, yes, that is just how the ed2k network works alot of times. Sometimes, your upload will be maxed out and you will hardly be downloading anything. But just keep using it. As you upload more, your credit score goes up and you will eventually start to soar at good speeds.

Two things that can affect good speeds though, is to make sure you have a high id. Also, get connected to a good, large server, and have a good fresh serverlist. And config the emule options to your connection and optimize it every way you can. This will help.

The big thing though, is to have patience. It takes a while to get started. But once you get there, just sit back and watch the speeds fly.
