    ES5 ads

I'm not using an ad blocker at the moment and saw that ES5 is advertising at ZP...

Not so long ago someone said that ZP even let the Kazaa Gold people advertise here. Is that true?

You know, out of sarcasm somebody told them to stop spamming our boards and advertise their product, I never thought they actually would....

We have strange advertisements here, kazaa gold wouldn't surprise me. I've seen cydoor, AOL, and some other strange ones (ever look at the links on the bottom?)

Honestly, I think ZP does a wonderful job of integrating advertising with real content, many sites have to be anoying with it

I saw the ES5 one at the bottom of the 'if ZP were closed' thread.

And now there's one on the top of this.

I think it just catches my eye because it's so... blue.

Whatever, it's an ad just like the rest... I pay little or no attention to them.

I only see the ads when I forget to turn on webwasher, however, seeing it did get chuckle out of me. Same for for the AOL add too.
    Insert sig image here

Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats".

I guess if ES5 and kazaa gold are willing to pay for ad space, then there's nothing wrong with letting them advertise.

I have nothing against ES5 advertising here, or anywhere else.

You don't let some people advertise, that's all. Letting the Kazaa Gold trolls advertise here when you know what they're doing then you're supporting them.

    small clarification

the kazaa gold ads are actually google ads. We sell a lot of ads through fastclick, and one of their advertisers is google. They pay us a flat cpm for the space, and they in turn sell it to their keyword advertisers.. for example, and advertiser liek kazaa gold could choose to have google put their ad on any site that pertains to "file sharing" ... which this one does. The es5 ad, however, is not. They are a direct advertiser on ZP. Thank them for the new ram in the server please!

Hahahaha anyone else find it ironic that only a day or so ago they were discussing banning Zeropaid.com and it's users from their site as well as putting a small ad in the beginning of any movies they stream saying to stay away from ZP, and now they are advertising here ?

Oh well, as long as it's helping the site with the bills I can't really complain.

wait till sharman networks starts advertising here.

i wanna ask somebody here how much zp is actually making for all these ad impressions... and how many people actually click and what not.

i personally never click pop-ups, even for legit sites. i will go to the address bar and type in the url first.

    lol. im a cheapskate.
