    Need help with an error.

Been a User for some time now and have not had ANY problems with winmx. I have version 3.31. Windows 2k Professional W/ service pack 3. LAN - Cable modem.

Heres the Problem. For the past week the DL's go fine. All file sharing goes on for awhile (varied) and then the fun blue screen of death. Heres what i says.

    MULTIPLE IRP REQUESTS FAILED (00000044)

Well after a bit of troubleshootiing the affect was found to be within winmx but im not sure of the cause. Here's the odd thing. I can DL just fine. When i add my shared folder it seems ok but after awhile that BS of death occours. Like i can receive but not send and remain stable.

I checked the other prog's and all seems just fine. No viruses found. No recent program installs, and after 12675 files sent to other people its odd to have this problem now. And yes i did completely remove Winmx and reinstalled it. and I checked with my ISP and they said its not them, although they did have a request to boot me from a watch dog group2 days ago.

Has this happened to any one else ?

I was leaning towards Internet Protocals or something in that area but i havn't found anything yet.

Any suggestions would help at this point.

    Thank you
    Jim

Well i think i found the problem,

Just an FYI for some that may have this problem.

It appears to be related to 3 partial DL's. the file ends (through winhex) showed EOF (end of file) in unusuall places. I removed 10K from the end and rechecked. They seem ok now and The DL's and UL's seem to be ok. Im still not sure how this happened.

Just thought some of you might find this info usefull seeing that no-one answered this post.

Thanks (for what im not sure)

    Jim
