Whenever I start a download via IE, Bittorrent would load, but I would get a fatal error message from windows before I get to choose the download directory. The message says that
"Windows cannot find 'C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\6FEP6HG1\[file].torrent'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search."
I get this error everything I begin a download with Bittorrent. Although the download goes through after I click "OK", this message is extremely bothersome. Does anyone know how to prevent this message from appearing before each download?
The Truth may be Censored, but it will Never Die.
Same here. Curious to know why myself.

Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats".
For me Shareaza mucked up the BitTorrent settings. Uninstall Shareaza, uninstall your BT client, restart your computer, then reinstall your BitTorrent client.
