    Strange file format

Emule works fine for me. Got a file I was looking for a long time. BUT its a .BIN file. I think that means its a binary, but how on earth do I compile it into something my XP system can eat?

    Welcome to Zero Paid,

Use google, or search our forums with the Search, and for now start here:

I assume you want to put whatever it is on Cd? (DONT tell me what the file name is !)

You can burn it with Nero etc and get a working CD from it.

Did the .bin file come with a .cue file?

If so, I know you can load the queue file with Nero and it will automatically burn the bin file.

You can also convert the bin file to iso and burn the iso using Nero. I know WinISO does this.

You have many options. google.com is your friend.

Thanks your prompt reply guys. It didn't come with a cue file, so I tried CD-Mate. Worked like a charm. Am now the proud owner of the full working CD of XXX-XXXXXXX-XX

There are 10 kinds of people in the world: those who understand binary and those who don't. :)

A .BIN file is usually an image of some sort. It's probably of a CD, so you should use a cd-burning program to try to write it to disk. Don't just out the file on the CD, make sure you have selected it as a disk image or you will just end up with a CD with this .BIN file on it.
