    xs client pr42

hell all it is me again, i have a recent update on the program that a member here has made. method77 i believe it is who has programmed this. his website is http://homepage.ntlworld.com/tim.leonard1/xs/index.htm
    http://xs.tech.nu/

here is the download link for pr42
    http://homepage.ntlworld.com/tim.leo..._r998_pr42.zip

this program has many features, it is like dc with the hubs that you have to connect to. The main window is a chat window wich lets everyone talk to one another. There is a browse user feature. Download accelerator, bandwith throttling, and many other features.

Correction, method is the creator. method77 only shares a similar name and nothing more.

Anyways, I am wondering when XS is gonna finally be in beta. I would be more prone to test it if it were (although I have in the past).

FIRST OF ALL: sry method77 and meth for mixing up your names.

well, right now we still need more testers to use xs, we are heading towards a beta when all the bugs are out and all the needs are put into the program. If more people came into xs alpha testing, then we could push the beta release date up. also meth is having some hard times right now. i am not obligated to say, but he has made a well growing filesharing program that is, in my opinion, going to top over kazaa and dc.

It's nearing the end of it's alpha days now. The hub software gives near 100% uptime now so that will be released as a beta in one of the next few (2-3) releases.

With the client, I've just gotta replace the other-user-share-browser stuff (ms components have been a pain), fix a lil bug with the DL queue and make it automatically seek sources and auto-resume then it'll be beta. (when it's in beta i'll work on anonymous p2p2p transfers, a tabbed interface and multi-hub connections)

Tracker software will also be beta in the next 2-3 releases, just needs a hub requirements column and for trackers to be able to register with each other.

meth you should also add a media player and a library to show all the files you share in 1 tab. that would be great for all of us who like built in media players and a library to show the files you are sharing

If this were democratic, i'd vote a big NO on the internal media player.

I never realized that method and method77 were different people, SHIT!

Hmm, I'm tempted to make a joke about homeya, but its not true, this program actually exists!

I am not the creator of XSclient

Our usernames are similar but I had this nick years ago. Actually I wanted to register method but it was taken. Method was registered about a month before me. And I assure you I didn't copy anyone.
