Question I want to use my old shareazaa download folder

I reinstalled shareazaa over my old one but the old incomplete files do not show on the transfer tab in the new installation, is there a way to make the old folder reusable. I have hundreds of MB's of half uploaded files I don't want to upload them all over again, not to mention the hours wasted in searching for those files. Please help.

I posted a similiar thread a little earlier but I can't find it so I assume I have done something wrong. :mellow
    Peace.

I did that, even though the old folder was in the default directory, but I still went ahead and clicked on it again. But my old incomplete uploads still do not show on the new shareazaa.
    Peace.

    Might this help?

    • Shareaza keeps track and makes backups of the files in your download queue, this is especially useful if your computer crashes when Shareaza is still open. When you open Shareaza again after the crash all your downloads and incompletes will have vanished from your queue, yet the files themselves will be in your incomplete directory.
    • Solving this problem is very simple. In "C:\Program Files\Shareaza\Incomplete" (Default directory) you will find a succession of ShareazaX.dat files. Shareaza1.dat is the currently in use download file and the succesive numbers are backups. If Shareaza has just crashed the current file will have a very small byte size (2-6k) while the Shareaza2.dat will have a much larger file size. Rename Shareaza1.dat to Shareaza1.dat.bak and then rename Shareaza2.dat to Shareaza1.dat. Make sure that the Shareaza client is closed when you perform this action.
    • When you restart Shareaza, your incomplete downloads should be queued in your download window ready to begin.
"Phuck the RIAA!" As long as real musicians get paid for live perfomances, that is fair. But to expect pay for recordings is a joke! That's just a way to avoid having to perform every day! LAZY!!! Music was around long before the RIAA hijacked it, charged us for it, and convinced us we could only get it through them! Pick up an instrument and learn to play!
