are we referring to their respective acting or musical careers here? as far as acting goes, will smith actually impresses me with how far he's come since the fresh prince of bel air. As far as music goes, Ithink they both blow. And I love me some hip hop too!

As far as music goes, Will Smith has put out a few good albums (haven't heard the new one though), which Ja Rule hasn't.

I'm gonna say Ja-Rule. I like that kind of music, I like rap, r&b.. but Will Smith isn't really rap.. even though he's considered it. But Ja-Rule, I like how he feats. people a lot.. and I just like his lyrics, and stuff better.... the only music I like is....

Other music I don't really like, some other songs are okay that aren't in those catigories... but I cannot stand country.. it'sso boring!.. lol

I'm really getting tired of 'artists' like JaRule. That's not an artist, have you (fans) all forgotten what music is?
These days I wonder if the definition of an artists is "get a black dude, get him in far too big clothes, and let him 'sing', doesn't have to be good... it will be bought".
Damnit I want some good music now! I haven't downloaded anything in about a year cos the music quality is so incredibly bad! Can we please get some real artists again? What's the point of having P2P networks when all you can download is shitty dance covers, black rap or good looking sluts who can't sing for real?
That's my rant for today.
BTW: Will Smith is a nice guy. Don't fancy his music too much but at least he is not playing the "black rapper from the street, and I'm angry" act.

I mean, this thread is almost half a year old and it shows up at the top of the new posts list.... Ive seen it happen before a few times as well....seems really strange.
