Good god, WinMx has turned into QueuingMX. I hope this is something they fix in later versions. It's all good finding loads of file, It would be nice to be able to get them too...
Did you try quickmx? http://napsterite.org/QuickMX/ it helps but your still gonna get ques. Just start it up and go to sleep or do somthing else besides staring at the screen. A watched pot never boils

If you share a decent amount of files: 1 gig+
sharing similar types of files (regardless of trading) ie: share movies when downloading movies you will find that the user might start you up early.
People who share little amount of files, mostly incomplete files and non related files tend to stay in queues forever.
I also find a karma thing going on in winmx, if you're polite: thanking people for files etc helps alot.
Afterall its mostly greedy leeches who take up the majority of the queues.
With programs like leechhammer they help prevent the queue problems. But there seems to be a cleverer breed of leecher.
One who encripts their files so no user can tell what files they are, and the type who uses a firewall to block users from downloading off them.
Yes.. that's true
If you are downloading a rare song and all you have are some crappy pop songs.. forget about it

That is so true. I actually have an external hardrive I use when using winmx so I can change what Im sharing around easley to get what i want. Thus when im looking for cartoons I share only cartoons, looking for porn, I only share porn and so forth and so on. This is KEY

seems like some people need to check the difference between "sharing" and "trading" in the dictionary.
If there's one thing ruining P2P systems more than "leechers"; it's do-gooder anti-leechers.
What does Winmx have do with sharing???? lol

it's only true for people who are dl'ing their very first file. if i see 1 file in their library, that is the same type as what they are dl'ing, i let them continue.
but since all file sharing apps share the incomplete folder, and they are sharing 0... that means they moved their completed files out of the folder so they wouldn't be sharing.
leeches hurt networks a helluva lot more than 'anti-leeches'
