    Nero Burning Problem

What can I do to rectify this and what exactly caused this? I am trying to burn an exact copy of a game. Their website doesn't shed any light on the matter. Thanks.

nero wont do the job cos the cd is most likely copy protected, use clone cd instead.

yeah nero may have issues w/ newer games, it's not the end all solution to burning, but it can burn most stuff, that is mostly what made nero what it is today

well, actually it also depends on your writer. Nero works fine with some drives when copying protected discs.

Protected cds have bad sectors on the cd on purpose. The game checks for this when it starts up. So your drive reported an error when trying to read the disc. Apps like clone cd duplicate the whole disc, including the bad sectors.

i would suggest using alcohol 120% in conjunction with this list.

    but first read this article.

Are you running anything else on your computer? Read buffer errors are usually caused by a full page-file, or not enough Ram. It could also come from problems reading the files.

The first thing to do would be to not to have anything else open while you burn because that could cause a memory leak.

    CLONE CD

This program does the job all the time

But be careful finding it on programs _ many clone cd versions on Kazaa are infested with tons of viruses
