CAn someone recomend a good music file burning software to burn my downloads to play in my car. I use music match but is there better software that burns wav or mp3 files that makes them sound excellent? or does it just depend on the actually file being downloaded? Basically what i am asking is there anything out there better than MusicMatch that burns and manages my music files and gives them a great digital sound???
It all depends on the bitrate. I also use MusicMatch. It works great! If you want high sound quality buy the cd, if not MM burner has many digital effects settings that work quite well. It really depends on the file you downloaded. Just search for the highest bitrate.Originally posted by snaps98

Ok, Iīll give you some choices and let you make up your mind.
Beware, though, that not all of these are free, so youīre on your own i what regards the way in which youīll obtain the software.
The most well known are Nero and Easy CD and DVD Creator . I, and most of everyone here, will recomend Nero every time of the day. Personally, I donīt think Nero handles high frequencies (like hi-hats) very well, regarding audio burning, but it basically does anything you can possibly do with a CD. Iīve tested the new ECDDVDC and was pleasantly surprised, even though itīs hugely bloated.
My choice goes to CD Mate . It does everything Nero does, itīs smaller, and sounds better. Like Nero, it also has a Label designing program, that works better than Neroīs. You can also try
You can also try Exact Audio Copy . Itīs free, but itīs mainly a ripper (the best ripper out there, IMO). However, Iīve burned a few CDīs with it and they sound pretty good, but itīs not a very easy program to deal with.
All the programs above, except CD Mate, have basic audio editors included. They help you remove clicks, pops and hisses from your files, place fades, remove silence or bits of the file, etc.
For a more professional choice, you canīt do no wrong with SoundForge , which I believe is the best audio editing and recording program out there, or Steinbergīs WaveLab , which is also good. But notice that these are more professional programs, so theyīre not for your casual "Burn a CD to listen in my car just 10 minutes before I go out for the night" burning.
My final advice? Go with Nero or, better yet, CD Mate.

Nero's good for many things, but not great for music. I'm not saying MM is the best, since I haven't tried many others. I do use nero though...just not for music. I have found musicmatch to be quite good, seeing as it was designed just for music. Everyone has an opinion; the fact is, there's no shortage of music burning software. Why not? I don't have a problem with it . I also use RealPlayer, and Roxio Easy CD Creator. All of these work equally well.Originally posted by method77

the quality is really poor. If you convert use EAC or CDex. To burn use Nero, alcohol or acoustica. Some other burners are ok too but these are the best IMO.Originally posted by rainbowdemon

u have many options when it comes to buring cd's but ill suggest u a winamp plugin......it creates multiple crossfading wav files using mp3s that can be burned to make a nonstop track changable audio CD

with this plugin you can create non-stop cd's (basically before 1st song finishes the other 1 starts , also called cross fade effect) an the Cd will be track changable that is you can directly jump to lets say 5th song if you want too.......
