Edonkey or Emule ?

I use K-lite ,and Dc but never edonkey/ emule

whats better edonkey or emule
I figerd emule but I want to know if somone can tell me whats better before I install some crap on my HD.

I would use e-mule. I downloaded e-donkey and it was bundled with spyware. Emule is amazing

i use edonkey. emule sucks IMO even though it now works on my XP pro system. edonkey does have optional spyware, but it still seems to install some crap. but i just removed it with spybot and removed the folders manually.

Opinions vary, so maybe you should try both and find the one you like the best. The E- Donkey network is great and find the app that's right for you.

I use eMule Plus (finally got a stable enough version to work on my system).

It has all eMule has but runs better (less memory usage, etc.)

Normally I would agree with Winphuk and suggest trying both eDonkey and eMule (or eMule plus), but with the optional spyware, like sock said, I wouldn't even bother on the purpose of principle.

If eMule can be a better client, in my opinion, and have no spyware/adware and be open source, then eDonkey has no excuses for spyware optional or otherwise.

Yeah Tryed both - and shareaza beta 1.9,

emule is the only one tht didnt frezz my system but emule did crash once but seems fine now

well i don't know i just seem to get better search results with edonkey than on emule (btw i've tried both emule and emule plus). maybe my serverlist was crappy, i don't know. i might try it again. but also my low id made my speeds crap.

i used to use edonkey all the time and only changed to emule when edonkey began crashing on me.

the first emule versions weren't that great but they now use less resources than edonkey.

but yeah all versions of emule aren't great and even some of the mods aren't that great. You kinda gotta do some homework and try a few. tarod has good mods and the new regular emule is supposed to be ok. I am using a older emule v0.23b 4 plus as it has been very stable and running great.

I may go to the next emule now and I will try the new edonkey as well.

heck use them all till you find what works for you.
i always note that what works good for one may not work good for others. you need to just use them and see.

I like Kazaa lite and winmx. - I use them WAY too much. But i am going to try MLdonkey. The interface looks a little crappy, but if it does the job, i'm sticking with it...
