    mp3=bad
    ogg=good

    The RIAA: Here, you can have $13 for all the years we ripped you off.

    My response:
    "That's ok, keep your $13 and I'll settle my claim via p2p."

    Keep an eye on MS and the RIAA: http://slashdot.org

    that's a pet peeve of mine too.

    the cpu is the central processing unit. the processor. the athlon or pentium 4 or 3 or 2 or classic or k6-2 or 3 or whatever. hopefully not a cyrix. ;)

    The files are stored on the hard drive.

    TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, you forgot to uncheck "protect content" in media player's settings.

    you'll have to download a program to unprotect the files you've already made.

    Either your a fucking moron....or you suggested setting winamp to play wma's through wav out.....in which case your still not very bright.

    To the thread starter....if they're on the same HD...same PC....same set up... (you didn't wipe the drive).

    You can use this app to convert them to mp3 or wav or possibly remove the DRM stuff...(since it's legal you must have the proper 'key' to decode them).

    I know theres a DRM remover out there...but I choose not to post on it. Try that for now...and next time rip to mp3 or just untick the protection in WMP's options.

    take a look at the image, then try and copy files again....maybe it helps........

    Also to play .wma file in winamp with full use of dsp, u need the plugin

    after this installation you can also convert wma to wav using Nullsoft Disc writer plugin, then to mp3

    Plugin

    yea i know u loose some quality......its better than downlaoding the file again.....think bout 56k people, 40 odd mins to download 5-6 min song.........

    I do it in 40 seconds, but i used 56k once so......this is how i learnt........

    or you download a program then find a keygen then convert........

    Why do people use wma........

    Okie there is a program by cyberlink (on kazaa ) that lets your Windows Media Player rip to mp3, check it out
