hiding program icons from the system tray.

im looking to DL a whole load of mp3s at an internet cafe (i dont have my own net access for a while), and the downloading of the 50 songs should take approx 3 hours (max DL speed is approx 20kbps.). now, im not gonna sit at the comp for 3 hours...so my plan is to come in at 11am, fire up soulseek and KL, and come back at 6pm when (hopefully) most or all of the songs will be waiting for me.

now obviously, these programs will hog ´a lot´ of the bandwidth for those 7 hours, and people who use that comp or even the supervisor ´may´ close them...
so what i wanna know is - how do u hide icons from the system tray? i know that you can restart explorer, and it resets the tray, but is there another way?

The RIAA: Here, you can have $13 for all the years we ripped you off.

    My response:
"That's ok, keep your $13 and I'll settle my claim via p2p."

there's nothing good to protect yourself. ctrl-alt-del will always be there. no matter what program you use.

Yes, and it's really not a good idea to do this at an internet cafe, as the files most likely are copywritten.
