Hi, I just wanted to tell everyone and anyone who cares, and for those who don't know... there's a file on Shareaza that contains a VIRUS

The file is: Cable Modem Anonymizer.exe about 41kb in size

The Virus is: W32.HLLW.Purol

here is what symantec says about it:

W32.HLLW.Purol is a worm that attempts to spread through file-sharing networks and to delete certain files from the infected computer.

Thanks for the warning. Why do you suppose this worm seems to be checking shared folders?

Even stronger advice would be to not download files that are that small. Those 40k files are almost always viruses.
