With lack of actual Piolet forum, I'll ask here.
PS: This is not official in any way!!!
How would you feel about having Shareaza on the Piolet network? Do you think Pablo would allow it? What would Pablo think about it?
Crime never pays. Heroes are handsome. Pretty children are popular. Ugly children, cynical. Mothers never work. Single women always do. Politics doesn't exist. Automobiles screech when they come to a stop. All problems are solved in slightly less than half an hour.
Networks connected to:
Edonkey (Shareaza)
Gnutella2 (Shareaza)
Gnutella (Shareaza)
Bittorent (Shareaza)
Fasttrack(Kazaa Lite)
Get Shareaza : It's amazing.

I think it'd be cool. Would be beneficial to both programs.
I don't think Pablo would like it. But I don't think Mike would do it without discussing it with him first (they kind of know eachother), and I frankly don't think Shareaza will be connecting to their network anytime soon anyhow.
I like it when networks mesh with each other.
Could you imagine if all of them did?

No.. the best thing would be for Piolet to add G2 support.. that way both shareaza and piolet would benefit as shareaza wouldn't have to use up so much memory with all these networks and Piolet would have uberstandard albums =)
I am all for using the shareaza software to access to piolet network because I always had problems with piolet (and before that blubster) software. Its a good network for getting mp3 if not other file types.

Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats".
Shareaza and Piolet are both RAM-consuming monsters. I have eMule Plus and K-Lite open right now, and they only use 30 MB combined, a lot less than either Shareaza or Piolet alone. G2 and Piolet's network don't have rare content you can't get anywhere else. I don't see how combining them would benifit either in content or RAM usage.

I totaly agree, but i think Piolet adding g2 support would be pretty bad ass.

good idea. i think more networks should connect to g2... its a great network, just needs more users. piolet would be a good choice for adding g2 support... it will help both communities grow.Originally posted by Evil_Dweller_01

I am new here and all but I don't agree that G2 has shown much of a network and now that they are using ed2k they are masking any issues. When I use shareaza I only get edonkey transfers.
