    recommended Limewire version please?

Hi, I was just wondering from active users of limewire which is the best version to use. I know from experience with other programs, the latest is not always the best. Also, haven't seen too many positive comments on the latest version. I run osx 10.2.6, but maybe an os 9 version is better.

Your comments are most appreciated. Oh yeah, acquisition, too.

    Thanks in advance.

Why don't you try them out? In my opinion 2.9.10 is very good but some people also seem to prefer 2.8.6.

lol.. good to see an apple user.

    my suggestion:
    don't use limewire.

    www.acquisitionx.com

that's a great client, runs a lot of limewire code under the hood... it looks better, and is native for osx. give it a shot. i use it... has a lot more features than limewire too (integrates with itunes, etc)

    sorry, couldnt help it.
    hmm, you = loser...
if someone wanted to put absolute trash on his comp, he/she would use kazaa lite.
if he did want to use ft, he could use neo (search versiontracker.com for it). haha, at least osx users dont hafta deal with the nasty gui of kazaa... haha...

i just read this (lol, sorry i missed it though)

i read awhile ago, a quote about osx:
"osx is an acquired taste. like fine women, cars, and food."

hmm, thinking about that statement a little more now, does this mean that windows users only like nasty, whore-ish girls?

    Thumbs down limewire

I used to use limewire. I now use Aqualime. Its a great program, with no adware or spyware. Give it a try.
