The RIAA: Here, you can have $13 for all the years we ripped you off.
My response:
"That's ok, keep your $13 and I'll settle my claim via p2p."
Keep an eye on MS and the RIAA: http://slashdot.org

Nope, Its good sci-fi action adventure, I knew you would be your usual self, and its a given that we are all waiting for The Matrix.

So, did you go to the Cinerama?
I love that theater... Nothing is better than digital projector + big-ass screen.
"There's a passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17... I been sayin' that shit for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your ass. I never really questioned what it meant. I thought it was just a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherfucker before you popped a cap in his ass. But I saw some shit this mornin' made me think twice… The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be a shepherd."
Lowes Cineplex on Aurora. It was doable. They dont have the best sound system there.
yah I want to see The Matrix on that digital screen.
you've totally written it off and you havn't even seen it.Originally posted by UBER-RAT

You're right. That's an example of an uneducated opinion.Originally posted by tommystinks

I just got back from the theatres. It was awesome! A lot better than the first one, they should just "delete" the first movie... it was totally pointless compared to this one.
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
Nightcrawler was by far the best character. Not only in special effects, but in acting as well. Storm (Halle Berry) dissapointed me. I want to hear "Storm! Mistress of the Elements!" and see some dramatic acting, she just walks around and lights up her eyes like one of those bimbo witches from that show "Charmed". Jean Grey made up for it though, she was awesome. Wolverine suprised me... actually killed people...
The ending was suprising. Jean Grey "dies". However, X-Men fans non-newbies like me know she'll turn into the Pheonix. However, how will they handle that? The entire Pheonix thing is pretty much in space. And it's a horriably complex story (including Jean Grey's daughter in the future etc. etc.). I hope they can pull that off.
Few mistakes I noticed... Colossus was in the movie, yet he didn't speak Russian (and wasen't in Russia!). And the timeline is all screwed up (or at least, compared to the comic book and TV Cartoon)... Pheonix already? Yet where is Gambit? And Rouge has yet to take Marvel's powers yet..
Overall, great movie. Can't wait to see X3.
to be honest, i didn't like the first x-men and found it dull. but since the sequel sounds better, i think i'll check it out.

I have no idea what I just wrote.
I was thinking about seeing it next week sometime down at the Cinerama before the Matrix Reloaded takes over the screen... the Oak Tree is okay... easier than going downtown or to Lynnwood (and the U-District rarely has anything but art-flicks--except at the god-awful Metro--only good for a foreign film or something with no explosions). It is the closest to me so I have gone there a few times.
I wonder if the Matrix would really be better at the IMAX than the Cinerama... The IMAX is tall, but it cuts off the sides. The Cinerama is longer and both have digital projectors... I just wish that they had "film geek night" when they would crank the volume since the people that complain aren't there (I hate quiet movies and the people that still complain).

I seen the first one in theaters, it wasn't that good. Maybe this one will be better than the first though. It is supposed to have more "characters".
