Talking RIAA and stupidity - February 2nd, 2003, 05:49 PM

So what if the music industry develops AND uses some super duper new encryption system? It's no different to any other security development in that as soon as it it appears it will be stripped down and figured out by some smartarse that Bill Gates didn't manage to sign up and stifle. I look forward to laughing my chops off at the RIAA for the fools and tossers that they undoubtedly are. The only way to defeat piracy is to make the original article so cheap it aint worth pirating, this would not enable the huge profit margin per item that they currently enjoy, but perversely, if they did slash their profit margins they'd probably shift a whole helluva lot more stock. Pillocks.

I with u all the way percy99999. Look as PC games. The gaming industry has spent soo much time and money developing new "copy protection" measures, but within days of a new relesae, a crack pops up on the net for the game. And what about normal PC apps. There is a crack, serial or serial generator for nearly every app (and it's different versions) that there is to download.
