Don't forget MLdonkey, the choice ED client if you run Linux. The basic Linux ED2k client is for the BASH and the GUI a secondary addition, which is only one of its properties that prevent it from presenting the usual user-friendliness known from Linux.
Basically, it's not very well ported.
MLdonkey, OTOH, can do what the standard ED2k client can together with the 'Lite' bot, is more comfortable to use and does some things that are a pain in the azz in the ED2k client differently and more effectively - no more hashing for ages only to download a corrupted file, because MLdonkey checks for corruption, but hashes only at DL start and end.
