The Limitations of Open Source - June 8th, 2002, 06:51 PM

This article on zdnet talks about how open source is flawed. Because "That flaw consists of a lack of concrete incentive to motivate developers to contribute to open source projects."

Its a pretty good read some of the comments on slashdot post about it are also pretty good.

I agree. While opensource is good for development...not many things are in it for the incial developer. It's only good for people that aren't in it for the money obviously.
