I can't believe that they wasted all that time with the skunk running around like that. How long from the point of discovery to the point of removal did that poor thing have to wait? Setting up the cameras and calling in the skunk guy couldn't have been that short of a wait.

Pet Skunk, I WANT ONE!!! Can you imagine how much it would freak out your friends if you invited them over and as they pop in the door a skunk greets them. Even better, if a criminal walks in and sees a skunk, you think he will rob you?

I have a ferret, and if that's anything to go by (some of the descriptions of owning a skunk sounds quite similar) then it would be an awesome pet. I'm disgusted to see it illegal in so many states. The Wiki says that rabies is the issue. Well if it's a house pet, how the fuck is it supposed to get rabies? No one likes them because of their known odor, but no one seems to consider that they would be de-scented.

I've heard owning a ferret was actually pretty cool. I know that it's most often a good way of owning the most unique pet on the block for starters - and that's just for starters.

It's funny too, ferrets have scent glands too, but no one even thinks about that, because it's damn near impossible to find one with the gland intact.
