Poor Old Napster :( - April 25th, 2002, 08:46 PM

Have some sympathy for Napster, they brought up this whole revolution. May Npaster rest in peace:wings

Hey, I liked Napster (The Real Napster, not the neuterized filtered and paid versio of the end) while it lasted, but we all need to move on. Good memories though.... :bling

Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats".

The day it shut down was a sad one indeed....

But little did they know that they were opening the biggest can of worms ever! If it hadn't been for Napster being shut down, I dont think the P2P revolution would ever have gotten this far, this fast.

The more you kill, the more come at you... :black

Agreed. That was indeed a sad day. I really wish that had planned ahead, but alas, they got caught with their pants down.

Sad really.
