Upgrading 360 ixtreme firmware with a laptop? - February 12th, 2009, 09:37 AM

Can anyone give a rundown flashing ixtreme (benq) using a laptop? Or point me in the right direction to some good resources?

I believe all of those are tutorials using a serial cable connected to a desktop computer. I'm curious as to if the BenQ can be flashed without a desktop now like the hitatchi. Also, 1.5 is the most current firmware (I believe).

I ave a ISO disc that does the job for you, but you need to the USB connector that connects to your laptop. I think their off any xbox mod shop. IXTREME 1.5 saved my bacon. I had gotten my xbox back from the service, they swaped the old drive that was a Benq out with a LITEON. So i went on ebay, ordered Benq drive to have flashed and spoofed as a liteon drive.. So the week came that i got the drive which took forever in the mail since it was christmas time and coming from China as Parcel Post. So soon as i got it, they released the 1.5 that made liteon drives flashable. Thanks to the endless effort on the xbox 360 scene. So i put the drive up on ebay, sold it within 2 hours.

Ok, i read the NFO file for the modifcation disc. Cant use the USB connector with the disc.
