Any way to increase download speeds?????? -

Im a newbie to winmx.I have looked thru all the threads here and can find no way to completely speed up my downloads.i have set my upload bandwidth throttle at 10000.What should i have my download at???Any help would be muchly appreciated

You don't need to throttle your download bandwidth, but if you leave it wide open then everything else you do will slow down.
Try setting the download throttle at about 95% of your bandwidth and the upload throttle at 85% So if your bandwidth is 256 Kbits/sec down / 128 up, set your download to 30400 Bytes/sec and upload to 13600 Bytes/sec to start. Watch the bandwidth monitor. |
