Smile Can't get connected. - December 12th, 2002, 09:20 PM

Hi there, I just picked up Direct Connect today, hoping to be able to get around the university firewall... only I can't get connected.

I am running in passive mode with no auto connect at startup, and I'm connected through a LAN.

I don't know a great deal about server connections although I've been learning as I've gone along :-)

Any help would be greatfully recieved!

I believe Direct Connect uses port 1412 to connect(not sure). I would try the latest version of DC++. I'm no expert either.
