Well not to be an ass well yeah I am being an ass. Why not do a forum search there are tons of threads already open on this subject. If you have a specific question about a program by all means ask.

Don't limit yourself, use whatever resources get the job done.
SoulSeek is good, if you've got the time, the social inclinations to meet like minded peers, and the patience to sift thru a lot of hay to get to that needle.
But learn and use a multitude of networks, clients, and apps.
Nothing will be the best for every download in every circumstance.

Government cannot give anything to anybody unless it takes it away from somebody else, and when it does this it uses force and coercion in violation of the rights of those from whom it takes. The political state -- interventionist government -- cannot bestow any benefit to society as a whole -- it can only take from some and give to others, minus the overhead absorbed by the administering bureaucracy.

BitTorrent is the best for everything. I didnt like using it at first either because I didnt want to get involved in that whole gay private torrent shit. And I still dont do that crap. But just go to pizzatorrent.com type in what you want, and you should find it. Its pretty painless.

I used to say Emule for porn, but Emule is ridiculously slow. I also used to think BitTorrent was slow, but that was only because I was using uTorrent. Soon as I switched to Azureus, everything magically became good speeds. Im sure uTorrent could have had some settings changed or something to get decent speeds but fuck that shit. I dont want to monkey around for ages trying to get this shit to work properly.

So yeah, if you want music, movies, tv shows, games, appz (do the kids still say that?), or even hardcore, gangbanging, big-boobed, Mexican chick pornography then BitTorrent (with the Azureus/PizzaTorrent combination) is your clear winner.

Aside from torrents, the only p2p programs I'd even consider are emule and soulseek. I will agree with everyone here who has said torrents are a far better way to get files.

Try Mayoko. I believe that 1.1.2 is the current version. Alas it is not free but 100% working pirated copies are available. You could also try ShareStation after subscribing there for free.

Then again Magesy (http://www.magesy.com/) is the world's best site to download all kind of western music and you can subscribe there for free also.

As long as you're in "active" mode and have access to private hubs, DC++ is great.

Well, IMHO it's crap. It's overbloated with functions that most people would never use, and it uses a lot of resources.

uTorrent on the other hand is the best thing I've come across. And that would be the general consensus amongst most of the BT community.
