Question MP3 to CD - May 29th, 2002, 04:07 PM

I've been using a program made by Sony that came with my CD burner to make CDs from my MP3s. It does the job but I get a lot of errors. I was wondering what else is out there. Could I get some suggestions of what MP3 to CD program I "should" be using? Thx people.

If you want something free try EAC.
It's a ripper with a built in burner.

If you want to pay:

Easy CD Creator 5, which now with this version, includes an encoder.
Encoding is new for them, so I don't know how good it is.
They were feeling so much competition from Nero,
they had to include an encoder to keep up.

Nero
One of the better burner/encoder's out there.
Good program.

There are more, maybe someone else can suggest one.

There is surprisingly very little available as far as freeware is concerned.
The above mentioned apps are the best, but a bit expensive.

There is a new freeware app. called mp3doctor available at http://mp3surgeion.com

And Eac is freeware.

Feurio is considered very good, but to me at first seemed complicated. It does take getting used to. It is shareware and is not crippled, just a nag screen. If your patient and willing to read and learn you can't miss with EAC and Feurio both very good.

Find Feurio with a yahoo search.

Feurio is here:
http://www.feurio.com/English/index.shtml

I have been using Feurio for years. Feurio does come with some stuff that only advanced users would understand but overall it really isnt that hard to use. It's excellent . Get it
