Try Emule -
November 28th, 2002, 06:54 AM
Hi --
I was having the same problem as you. I was sure my configuration was correct because I used to be able to connect without difficulty. When someone here suggested EMule and I saw a complaint at the EDonkey site saying that EMule users were able to connect when EDonkey users were not, I tried it, and with WONDERFUL results. EMule is not a separate set of sources such as Grokster or Kazaa would be but rather a different way of connecting to the same EDonkey sources. After you download and install it, you then go to another site to update your servers. This is the one that I used: http://2z4u.de/y7emzcpu/max/server.met Good luck! |

Go here to download eMule. eMule Project
Ok, if you have eMule installed, open eMule and look for "Update server.met from URL". If you can't find it, its under the "Servers" tab. In the box, type the URL for the server.met file, like the one provided by tempgal, in the box. Then close your client. Open eMule again and the server list will automatically be updated. |
