whatever I try to find - I see 0 files found in the search results.

I use a client called shareaza.

It conects to edonkey servers i have no idea if there is a difference in emule i have allways thought it was the same and i was just useing it this morning.

Also try updateing the server dats i do not have emule client so no idea how it works but all the same i guess once i find the link i will post it.

Sparky, KAD is not as easy as you think it is to use! Most people are unfamiliar with KAD and even those that know it have headaches sometimes connecting....KAD is NOT for everyone.

Personally, I am waiting to use emule when they get some decent servers back online. KAD simply sucks to me.

But then again, I have newsgroups to fall back on, so no worries.

with source exchange you get the same sources for files as if connected to a "server"

No it is NOT the future of emule. I don't know where you get that from, but it is not true! People have been saying that bullshit for years and it has not happened yet!

Again, KAD is not as easy to use for some people.

As far as I can see using Kad is just as easy as using servers, the only difference is that it takes a little longer to get search results and connect to others. I've been using Kad for quite a while, never liked the idea of servers.

I haven't had to use Emule for a while, but that''s exactly as easy as I remember it being.

(I used Kad exclusively for about a year after Razorback2 (RIP) got busted).
