Emule connection problem - September 17th, 2007, 07:03 PM

I have been using Emule for a while and it's great, but recently I had to change my Connection Manager. I used to just use Windows Zero Configuration (I have an adaptor and it catches a router connection from another computer in the house)...

I switched to a different sofware- T-Mobile connection manager and now Emule just doesn't want to connect, it doesn't recognize that there is internet connection available.

I tried playing with options but I really don't know what to do.

I'd appreciate your help, thank you.:icon_thum

T-Mobile is AT&T Wireless Network that does not like P2P traffics! Did you try different ports?

Using Wireless Network is not good for p2p traffics, sorry there's not much I can do. BTW, does bittorrent works well for you?

I think it worked fine before, how do you know if it does? I was able to download loads of stuff and fast...I am connected to a router though, just through an adaptor and it worked fine before...

Now all the servers appear to be dead, full or timed out...so weird...:icon_boun

I've not been on the network for last few days, apparently a lot of good German servers are not working due to new file sharing law over there. But, there are other servers not located in Germany still works but could be full. My advice is try eMule KAD network, which works without using servers in addition to eDonkey servers, so turn on both eDonkey network & KAD network in your settings!

You could try yet another connection manager, and check firewall settings.
