lets face it Those big buisness fatcats will never crack down on piracy - November 22nd, 2002, 08:41 AM

i'm feed up of reading these news stories all about these billionares having a cry about how piracy is making them miss out on our hard earned dollars

well boo f:crosscking hoo

and what is more laughable is there talk about how there going to crack down on internet piracy

we have always been 2 steps ahead and we will always have a new trick up our sleeves eg. cracks,patches,p2p,ftp ect.

big buisness men will always have ppl buying there products we call them stupid ppl and then we have that great part of the population who can't use the internet (happy just with there e-mails and there yahoo games)

sorry i guess i'm just having a rant but come on internet piracy cant be taking that much of your buisness

not realy worried - November 22nd, 2002, 09:07 AM

I think the concern is because they have the potential of screwing up the party.

don't think they can't mess it all up.
their are already isp's who limit downloading and block people from using p2p apps.

they control law making and work on making policy changes.

don't laugh , they can screw it all big time if we don't keep paying attention and mess back with them

we all know money does the talking, why would they care about anything that is free. all they want is a way to make more money and money buys power.

so dude don't brag till the 'war' is over

man that the least of what i'm trying to do here

i'm just making the point that we will always be winning the war (and that may sound like bragging) but we have the underdog spirit, as long as we picture ourselves as a resitance movement trying to stick it to the man we will win, they may have hundreds of highly paid workers trying to stop us, we have thousands of passionate net geeks (no offence, but we are)
for every safe gaurd, write protection, ect. we find 10 solutions around it.

they may rule our ISP's but they will never control the people who use them

yeah I think so also. I don't think file sharing can ever be stopped but it can be messed with.
It would take a few extra months for non puter geeks to figure it out but in time everyone would just go deeper underground and use encrypted file sharing or whatever.
thing is isp's don't need to know what your doing. the trend it just to limit bandwidth and or make you pay for it.

peace

let us not hide - November 22nd, 2002, 12:02 PM

i don't think we should have to go underground

that what ftp communties like kopykatz has had to do
p2p shareing is not for hard core hackers (useing the word very broadly)

i think we are going to float for a couple more years at least
maybe moving from program to program abit more but i belive that this site shows that we airn't ashamed and we airn't criminals like the corperations would like to belive

and as for the ISP restrictions well there are more and more free-servers opening up every day

free servers or free access?

like what do you mean by free servers.
their has always been free servers....

underground can have a few connatations I suppose but anyway it doesn't matter really.
just means covering your ass a bit, that's all.

Well, we are breaking the law. But we aren't the subversive piece of filth they think we are.
